Man fright night 2 sucked ass.. even rewatching the original fright night could bore the shit out of you.. this is why lost boys was a way better vampire movie

I'd honestly call it a tie.
Both films revolutionized the vampire mythos by putting a new "spin" on it.
- Both films revolved around teenagers trying to kill a vampire.
- Both films vampires circumvented the heroes "fail safes" by being invited into their homes.
- Both heroes "love interests" were turned into vampires but were later rescued by the hero in the end.
- Both films hero had to kill a friend (or someone who they considered a friend) in order to kill the main vampire.

All in all I enjoyed both movies about the same...

I hated Lost Boys at first. I wanted to see a scary movie and it was a effin comedy. I'm OK with it now, but it took me several years to be able to see the title and not get pissed all over again.

I was in the mood to be scared. I was confused the entire first half because i wasnt. I only stayed for the full movie because I went with two other people.
