I do not have links.

However, it used to be (it has been a couple of decades) that text books that were NOT first editions, were basically the same AS the first edition, with a bit of fluff added, or minor rearragements. Sometimes they appear identical.

The reason I mention this is because, depending upon the class and the teacher, the TOPICS covered will be covered EXACTLY the same way in the older versions of the texts.

Older editions are usually significantly discounted. They go fast.

I would suggest calling an INDEPENDENT (i.e. NOT associated with the school) bookstore that sells texts. People who make a career in books often help people to a degree not expected. They respect the curiosity, and often have a love of learning and sharing knowledge.

I truly hope this helps. I spent a TON of cash on books. $100+ textbooks have been around at least since the 90s.

Credit cards
See if the school has aid options
Work study job
Get a job where they offer tuition direct pay. Even Target and Starbucks type places are beginning to offer it. Usually will reimburse for books and fees.
