Greetings fam,

Just wanted to know if there was a way to verify foreign companies. I intend to do business with some of them and id like to know all about them before i end up wiring funds to a dummy corporation.
Im just trying to exercise caution cos if a scam artist is as smart as i am, he would go as far as creating a website just to impress.

Any feedback would be GREATLY appreciated.

Assuming that you are going to do business with China or someplace like that you should just take a trip over and hire a buyers agent that will work for you when you need to buy. That way you have a native speaker that will watch your back. If you can't afford the trip then make sure you check addresses and get some business listings. They have them and depending on the country the counsolate (think that's how you spell it) should be able to give you advise

What exactly are you looking to source? Maybe I can help you out with a supplier.

Well, mostly manufacturers or companies that specialize in the following:

Empty mountings for Gemstones,
Bulk supply of the latest sunglases(could be imitations, doesnt matter),
Heat press machines(with no min order),

Ive got a few ventures that are in 'talk' mode and i just wanted to get ahead in the game. Any find would be appreciated, thanks.

If you don't mind them being imitations, try www.overlimitz.com. Their an overseas company. I've dealt with them on several occassions, with favorable results. However, this was approximately 3+ years ago.

Accept Wire Transfers only from overseas. Spare yourself the trouble of chargebacks from Credit Cards. The laws and policies protect the card holder not the business.

And on the flip i can understand if dude is leery of doing shit COD. Any more info on this credit in escrow thing? much appreciated...
