With all the people on out here trying to get over, I can appreciate the honesty.
By no means am I a marketing expert but I've picthed a few things. I think Mook got it right.. to add to that, make them feel like they need what your are selling. You are helping the buyer not the other way around.
You might want to make your site more direct. When a surfer hits your page offer something instantly. They shouldn't have to look for and click a product page to send you money. List your best product on the main page. With a direct "buy link". Think about offering samples. Let them know exactly what they are buying.
I did web design for a while. You can make two pages offering the exact same product, one sells none the other makes a killing. Try some things with your site. Start small but pay for advertising. If you do it right you'll spend a dollar and make two. If you'll figure out where your target market is and what they need to hear, you'll spend a quater..
Last.. I know we have folks on BGOL with nough extra dough to throw a young entrepreneur encouragement.. If your site made me feel like I needed your product in my life I would buy a one.
