I asked someone in my circle what they would do if they won the lottery... Their whole answer was about what they'd do for themselves, not one mention of helping others. I look at them a little differently now.

Not everyone is good with their fam though.
Most homes cost more than that, and still, he would have to pay for the taxes, upkeep, and if he owes money or has child support, it will come out of his pocket. So, will medical costs, plus family, women, and friends, will be coming for that money, you know, he's going to buy some clothes, jewelry, and keep in mind he's probably addicted to gambling, so in short, if he has a dime of that money after two years, I'd be surprised.

Your right, but the key is being financially disciplined and economically knowledgeable. Don't get it twisted unbeknownst to me Duke may have it in spades, but being a gambler, gambling that much money then acting like he never had money before, well the odds are he lacks money management skill needed to protect his money, and likely he will be broke in two years tops.
1.3 million before taxes is not enough to live out of the hood for that long, do unless he wisely invest his money or has a job that pays money the odds are against him.
This is why i am a strong advocate of blacks learning proper money management skills snd discipline.
