Before I got my health insurance I used to complain about how much I spent on my pill, I would always get over it by saying, "welp, a child is so much more expensive."

just got out of one of those scares. my cycle tends to hiccup around the 2 time changes. it will skip one or sometimes even 2. my shit just finally came yesterday thank god. i couldn't even deal with peeing on the fukking stick but i knew i wasn't pregnant i just knew. i cannot eat birth control pills they make me crazy.

Yeah, I knew I wasn't either since I take my pill correctly (same time every day) and I was using condoms, but I needed that reassurance, ya know? I was feeling queasy a lot so my mind was RACING! LOL

Yeah been there before, like Bigirl said my period does its own thing as well and I can NOT take any type of pill..i get the worse of the side effects and I am not going through that shit ever again.
Think am gonna make a thread about that actually.

i never had that scare but my mind does start wandering if its a day late lol... well used to. i haven't gotten a period in about 9months due to depo... i cant take that shit no more either though because of the weight gain... i'm going back to the pill

I have been there...on more than one occasion over the years, unfortunately. I am TERRIBLE about taking pills, plus BC pills make me nauseous. I did the patch for a while, but i'm a chocolate sista and the "nude" colored patch was a lil less than sexy.

I finally ended up with a mirena IUD. So for so good and it's good for 5 years. No worries.
