On Oct. 1, Roy Jones will be squaring off against Antonio Tarver for the third time in his pro career on HBO PPV w/ Shannon Briggs v Vinny Maddalone and Eric Harding v Daniel Judah on the undercard. The same night Showtime PPV will have James Toney v Dominck Gunn, Chris Byrd v DaVarryl Williamson and Rafael Marquez v Silence Mabuza. Personally I'm a big Jones fan, but Showtime has got the better undercard on this one. Guess I'll be watching the HBO replay of Jones/Tarver III

Yeah do that.....and while you're at it, record it for me cuz I'll be at the Tarver/Jones fight. But you are right about the undercard for the Showtime card.....it is better....they're supposed to have Andre Ward fight in Tampa also, but there's no opponent slated for him

Remember how bunk showtime boxing used to always be? They'd have like 1 good meaningful fight over about every year. But they've definetly picked it up lately. Now it's HBO who's doing all the "showcase" fights.
Oh and I'm gonna be tuning in on the Showtime card instead of Jones/Tarver III. And I'm gonna try my damndest to get tix for Corrales/Castillo II---Which is another Showtime broadcast.

Yo did Toney clear up that steroids charge???
Nah, thats why Ruiz punk ass still has the belt. They just gave him a 6 month suspension from boxing. Did anybody hear about how Calzaghe hurt his hand and won't be fighting Lacy this November? I swear that boy is shook, he knew Lacy was going to serve him like Mayweather did Gatti.
