for players OTHER THAN THEMSELVES in the past 17 years than:

1) shaquille o'neal (non-teammates)

2) jason kidd (teammates)

take jason kidd for example, and look how he got mikki moore paid.

as for shaquille o'neal, i can't think of another player who got more cats contracts because teams needed dudes on the roster JUST TO ABSORB FOULS. remember when PUSSific division opponents would use almost HALF THEIR ENTIRE ROSTER SPOTS to fill it with beef who they hoped could wear down shaquille o'neal?

I know Kidd most definitely helped get huge contracts for Richard Jefferson and Kenyon Martin. Kidd will get points for just about anyone although they do have to bring certain phyiscal talent to the party. If you play over the rim and your team likes to run, you definitely want Kidd on your squad going into your contract year
