That was that dude's first and last movie. Though he would have followed up with something else. Oh well.

She was sexy as hell in that movie. In the pics I've seen outside of the movie, she doesn't have the same "sexiness".
Hav Plenty is my favorite black oriented film since Sidney Poitier's heyday. I've been waiting 12 years for another film with its authentic black middle class sensibility, and I'm still waiting.
The only thing I didn't care for in the film was the soundtrack. And, I'm sure that was forced on Chris Cherot by Babyface and company.
It's going to play on TMC-W at 7:20am Jan 20 for those that want to watch.

All of the chicks in the movie would have gotten smashed.
I liked it, because it wasn't your typical black movie, they were just normal with normal interaction. We need more movies like that.

That movie is entertaining enough for me to watch it when it comes on cable 3 or 4 times a year... far from a masterpiece, but I defnitely liked it. Shit, I wish I would have had a house full of hot women to visit in DC on New Years Eve 
...by the way, Haviland's sister....damn, she could get it even more than Haviland! She was on House of Payne a lot for a while.
...and as I said in a previous Hav Plenty thread; Babyface should never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever^8 attempt to act again. He had like 3 lines at the end, and was instantly the worst actor I have ever seen, and that includes Snoop, Brat, etc
. Damn, I've seen Kimbo Slice deliver lines with more skill.
