I’ve eaten at Junior’s and Sylvia’s in NYC and they were both nasty as hell. I was at Serendipity 3 and David Duchovny from X Files sat across from me.

Slutty Vegan in Atlanta was the shit!

This Is It here in Houston is so so and Frenchy’s is good but too damn pricey for a wing dinner. Some of my celebrity friends love the place but they don’t know no better!

I ate at "the beautiful" soul food restaurant in Atlanta. I dont know of it counts as famous but the goodie mob mentioned it in "soul food" they haf the most unforgettable banana pudding. It was so cool and sweet. This was back in '98

Mary Mac's Tea Room is a historic restaurant in Atlanta, Georgia, serving Southern cuisine. Every morning the workers shuck bushels of corn, hand wash selected greens and snap the fresh green beans by hand. Breads and desserts are baked on the premises. The restaurant is located in the Midtown district at 224 Ponce de Leon Avenue NE. The current owner is John Ferrell.

Mary Mac is some ole Jim Crow era Antebellum type shit. Who you think been shucking corn all those years.

I'd recommend going to The Beautiful, always been Black owned, MLK and dem ate there. Matter of fact I might go spend some money there today.

Binion's Steakhouse in Las Vegas... Parking is $40.

Wifey had Oyster's Rockefeller and I had a Ribeye with baked potato. We shared a carafe of Shiraz.

The meal was hella expensive. Would I recommend it to a friend? HELL NO!

For the money we spent, the food was just alright. I figure Black folks' palette is different from white folks'. Shit was super bland. I told myself, I'm done with recommendations from white folks when it comes to restaurants. I could have had chicken, waffles, and collard greens for a quarter of the price, and I would have been totally satisfied, versus leaving a famous joint unfulfilled.

It's my fault for listening. :dunno:

I have some things to celebrate and want to surprise the little lady with a meal. I'm anti restaurant since the pandemic. But she loves eating out. Not a match made in heaven.

Probably gonna be something Creole or Thai.
