In the 1930s Harlem was the center of black culture and was full of black middle class/upper class people.

Harlem now is full of poorer black folks and a growing number of Latino and whites who are interested in gentrifying. Completely different environments.

Man the first min or so nig was around Lexington and park on the east side..that shit been full of crackheads and heroin addicts since I was in a stroller and b4.. everybody know Lexington is a hell hole and been that way for decades.. it’s literally the only place that hasn’t been upgraded in decades and still look like old grimey Spanish Harlem.. this is literally the same area where that white/latina broad took that propaganda footage of her “ walking all over nyc” and getting cat called.. bitch literally walked 10 blocks from 115 and Lexington to 125 Lexington than walked a lil to the west side. Yet claimed “she walked all over nyc”.. I guess Lexington the new propaganda footage area to shoot at
