Hard of illegals... South Florida edition

14th amendment was about classifying freed slaves and loyalist to the Union as citizen for protection.

The way they used the term in 1866 is much different than today. A citizen under 14th had no political power and could in theory be deported. State citizenship also played a major role.

A person naturalizing could vote. There are countries using threats of voting by these grown anchor babies by the millions. Immigration has impacted my ability to elect my representatives into office. No wonder we get bad trade policy and drugs flooding over.

Subsection 3(2) of the Citizenship Act states that Canadian citizenship by birth in Canada – including Canadian airspace and territorial waters – is granted to a child born in Canada even if neither parent was a Canadian citizen or permanent resident

Canada spelled that shit out, while the U.S. Constitution is murky as hell. A citizen born this way in the U.S. was compared to a sojourner from another country. No political power or anything.
