So yall only be thankful for yall blessings one day outta de year? :hmm:
Bi, and LS you know we're all good, but stop it. You both make good points about the real meaning of Thanksgiving and being thankful for our blessings, but this day as most of us view it is an opportunity to be with family and enjoy each other's company. In many cases one's family is spread out throughout the country and days like Thanksgiving give us an opportunity to be together. Sure, there is a much deeper, more sinister meaning behind what this day, but the time spent with family was priceless. Allot of us were together for the first time in a while, and enjoyed each other's company... Today is not the only day to be thankful for our blessings, but it is a time for families across America to be thankful together. So, while I understand the points you two are trying to make with your comments, I feel the point of the day, and of this thread was to send positive vibes to all the brothers and sistas of the board as they traveled and spent time with loved ones...

I answered the question...Why all the ice grills though? I know Thanksgiving and Christmas are not days you celebrate/acknowledge but there's no need to come in here and grill a brotha...Anyway, I may not make a Christmas thread, so the grills might be reserved for whoever chooses to do that...:hmm::hmm::lol:

My thanksgiving experience = went to house in NJ of people who beg me to come. went thru drama like planes trains and automobiles. ate disgusting food i couldn't stand. got drunk. saw dumb pilgrim and turkey figurines and got drunker. went thru planes trains and automobiles again on the way back and bust my knee. for what? no thanks. :hmm:

Still givin' me the :hmm: look huh? It's all good girl, it just seemed like you were raining on our parade. If that's not what it was then there is nothing more to discuss about it, at least not until Thanksgiving '09...
