^^^^ As well as countless other bands in the hard rock, funk, blues, jazz, etc genres,,,For example the lead guitarist, Ernie Isley of the Isley Brothers was Hendrix's under study,,,Interestingly, just before Jimi Hendrix passed away Miles Davis wanted to collaborate with Hendrix

I am a Keyboardist and guitarist however, I really like Victor Wooten. He is my favorite Bassist.

I'm surprised no one mentioned George Benson or Earl Klugh ... their Collaboration CD stays in rotation in my mp3 joint.

Yes, there is only ONE Guitar God and his name is:
JAMES MARSHALL HENDRIX

The child who has never travelled thinks that his mother is the best cook....

Let us establish a criteria before we continue... Making abstract noise rather than coherent, enjoyable dance music will be the criteria for inclusion in the consideration of greatness....

Too many

Let me give you an example of a young guitarist called Thierry Mogratana...

<object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/is7JNUN0KdM"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/is7JNUN0KdM" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>

I will not bring masters like Ya Poli Beniko Zero Faute, Nene Tshaku, Felly "Le Magicien de guitar" Manuaku, Roxy Tshimpaka etc ... because that is like bringing a hammer to a fist fight

And if the fight continues we might invoke a senior weapon like Papa Noel Nedule, Dizzy Manjeku...and we can still escalate to a still higher level....

Maybe I was too mesmorized by those chicks' ass and hips moving  :D

But I heard very little actual ELECTRIC GUITAR playing in that clip

Sorry, but I'm more into heavy riffs

So a man had lived his whole life in a smog chocked land, and then one day, they took him to a place where there was fresh air and they asked what he breathed and he said " I am yet to breathe real air here.."

That sound you heard my friend, is the excellent electric guitar of a youngman called Thierry Mogratana. Forget the awful sound you have been hearing, that is how the instrument sounds in good hands...

I don't think there was a second of that video where the Electric Guitar was not present.

Here I here I present the great Roxy Tshipaka (in the polka dot shirt)

The words "Elengi ya Zaiko suka te" mean "the beauty (sweetness) of Zaiko has no Equal"

John Mayer. His concerts are the shit!!!! Check out how he rings those harmonics above the nut. You have to be thinking a 5th above while playing and that shit is hard as hell!!
