But hold up.... How are these classics left off...
Not the greatest but DAMN NEAR PERFECT! Every bullet looked like it hurt! The editing, the creepy score, the 2nd unit work was top notch, stuntwork, the sound design, limited slow mo, Walter Hill and John Milius together!

I was going to mention this.
When I used to sell surround sounds and televisions, I used that scene to demo the 5.1 satellites and the sub. Even if people didn't much enjoy cinematic violence, I sold systems daily on the strength of this.

Funny thing about the Heat shootout..a group of Chinese tourists were near the area they were filming(near where the LAPD set up the roadblock) and they didnt see any of the camera crews,etc..they thought they were going at it for real
