First thread i saw upon waking. Good stuff. Couple things:

Ppl give Joe Rogan shit but his podcast is the biggest in the country. Always has ppl who i want to hear speak for themselves and even when he has some right wing douche on i still listen. I have all of GH work because of how we was revered/infamous in other circles but it was after one of his earlier appearances on JRP that made me delve in to his work.
This is one of my favorite global mysteries. I watched both vids and apparently am up to date on all things Olmec but i wish i knew Spanish cuz I’m sure some Mexican professor can probably relate more info or conjecture being directly related to the area.
Odd to me that the Aztecs hardly mention them. Wonder what these ppl actually called themselves. Gobekli tépe has all of my attention now and i want to go see how timelines compare

Ive listened to all of the Graham Hancock interviews from JRE recently...he presents some intriguing theories from an investigative journalism view rather than a scientific one to ask questions that will bring out the truth rather than the glory the archaeologist whom would be credited. He has an issue with archaeology(they attempt to discredit and blackball him) because he feels they force or dismiss theories that should be explored rather than crafted and manipulated into the realm of what we already THINK we understand including the whitewashing of history.. They are long interviews but definitely with a listen .
