Greetings, y'all. Just got here last nite (Sunday). It's 5:25am Monday morning here, (9:25pm Sunday nite in DC).

I'm gonna be here thru Saturday. Hopefully, I'll get to do a safari while I'm here.

The hotel I'm staying at is beautiful. Here's a link to it ---> http://www.tribe-hotel.com/

Anyway, I'm off to the US Embassy. Hope y'all doing well. Talk to y'all later.

Glad to see you doing good traveling. Hope you get to go home for the holidays...not good to be out like that...

Yeah, I'm in one of the regular rooms. And it is a nice hotel. I'll take some pics of it maybe tomorrow (Tuesday)

And I will be home for the holidays. I always take vacation time for that.:yes:

Jambo, my friends.

Swahili is pretty easy to pick up. Jambo (hello), Asante San (Thank You) and of course, Hakuna Matata (No Problem)

Unfortunately, I didn't get to do the safari thing this time around. I did take a few pics of the hotel and the adjoining Village Market. I'll post them up when I get back (I never trust wi-fi when it comes to uploading pics).

The best thing about this place is the weather. No such thing as winter. Though this is the short rainy season. (the long one is around April)

Now I have to fly to Amsterdam Saturday night. I have a long layover there, so I may just go into the city and do some shopping. My homegirl Msbhayvn joked saying "To bad you don't smoke!!! I would say smoke goooood for me!!!LOL"

DHustla, I work with computer networks. The company I work for has a government contract where we upgrade computer equipment for the military attache offices worldwide. That's all I can say about that.

If you plan to get into that field, get your certifications. Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA, etc. The DoD is adamant about contractors having the required certs.

Only other thing I want to do it get a nice sized Kenyan flag for the house.

Anyway, hope everyone have a good weekend.

Well, I'm back from a week in Kenya. All was good......until I fucked up my left shoulder last Wednesday. Feels like my rotator cuff. (I hope not)

Went to the hospital today. They gave me some ibuprofrin, some hydrocondone/acetaminophen and some balm to rub on the shoulder. I'm to rest up and take it easy. We'll see what happens.

I'll post the few pics I took probably tomorrow...Just tired right now.
