Government Grants

Hello family. HAPPY NEW YEAR!! I am trying to get a business off the ground and I was wondering if anyone knows anything about writing, or applying for government grants. I know they are not easy to obtain, but they can be awarded if you do everything that is asked of you. Has anyone ever applyind for and gotten a governmant grant? Does anyone write, or know of someone who writes grants? Any help would be great;y appreciated.

Late reply but. From what I have read the government does not give out grants too often unless you meet some requirments. Like your area is a disaster area like New Orleans. My city(cincy) has a deal call the empowerment zone. Its a High crime area but your business has to operate in those areas. They only get a operating budget of 1mil per year. As well as they will give you money for building or developing a new technology.

Outside of those area give it up. Lesko is a bullshitter and he cant be stopped because of free speech. Check out grants.gov thats all the grants see if you meet requirments
