Giuliani is supposed to be Trump's attorney, right? He's supposed to defend him and be on his side. The more he talks the deeper he seems to be digging Trump's grave. On Joy Reid , her and the panel were laughing uncontrollably at Giuliani for the longest time this morning.
The things he says are so stupid the mere mention of his name invokes ridicule. It is funny, but also
kind of pathetic.

Rudy comes out and admits to things that he knows will get out into the public anyway. He knows a story is coming (probably has been asked to comment by a reporter before they publish their story) or he knows a public filing will provide information that implicates Trump in something.

He's trying to get out in front of the story and also minimize the "crime" that took place by obfuscating the situation.
