he just copied the name of the video for the thread title. as expensive as beef tails are i dont see how anyone can call it ghetto. 
*edit* - watching a couple minutes of the video, the jamaican lady says she called the dish "ghetto oxtail" because she's actually using turkey necks.

The cook gave it the name...so what we eat is ghetto...

The funny thing is the tail and tongue was very affordable ten & twenty years ago but the demand went up so the price did the same.

I can see me making this with some changes.
That's now but in the past everything us lesser than ghetto folks(slaves) ate was considered throw aways,things civilized folks didn't want or eat.Now everything we love comes with a price,from collardgreens to fucking chitlins because white folks eat them now and have places a value on something that once was nothing to them.
