Hey. Anyone familiar with getting rid of the black marks under your chin from shaving. I shave with the clippers and am starting to get the black marks under my chin, wanted to know how to get rid of them.

usually some oils and shit, but also, I'd check into getting me some new blades. You're blades either need to be replaced or need to be oiled. I don't use clippers becuase it doesn't the job for me, but I use a Gillet Razor and I'm straight. the Mach3s do me good, but you have to lather under your chin as well. don't mess around with dry skin. Gillett products usually do good for me since I usually get ingrown hairs. Also, make sure you wet your face up with a warm or hot towell, the hotter the better since it'll open up your pores and allow for the hairs to be taken out faster.

One other thing, if you can, try pulling our your hairs with tweezers, so as to prolong them coming back for about a couple weeks, I do that to my stubborn spots.

Good luck

Will that remove the black marks. I need something to remove the black marks.

I think removing the black marks is a gradual thing. dont' expect quick results, bruh. if you get too anxious you could end up like Edward Olmos from American Me and those Poc marks. just follow some simple steps and let it gradually go away. more than likely, those HAVE to be ingrown hairs, I'd pull them out(if you have the time to do so) with tweezers. they'll go away, but you hvae to be patient with that. Fuck around and you could get permanent scars trying to get rid of them black marks

I've had the same blade for about 5 years now. But I do keep them oiled.

GODD DAMN five years? wow, player, you need to change those blades if they're in clippers. they don't cost much, but investing in that would be to your benefit. keeping them oiled is good for keeping them from grinding and pulling your shit(painful as hell) but you need to change them, seriously. if you ahve to Andis joints(I think that's the name) go online and get you some new blades, and they only last about two years if you only use them to shave, if you use them to get your dome done, then give it one year. I'd change them with the quick-fast. I'm sorry, but I'm surprised you don't see the darkening or rusting on them blades by now. they lose their luster and sharpness due to cutting hair. it's like an Axe when you chop down trees, you don't expect it to be sharp forever right? it's the same with those blades, my man.

I'm a dark skin brother who suffers from the same thing. I alway thought that we are the only ones that suffer from bumps but whites do too. Point is we are going to have bumps no matter what. So the key is to reducing them and the scars they leave behind. The reason we get bumps is first due to skin irritation from shaving and the reaction of the hair growing into your skin. This occurs because of your kinky hair which we should be proud but tends to be problematic.
1. You must keep your face CLEAN!!!! I wash my face twice a day or more with a hot water (this is bad b/c it dries your skin but it opens your pores..pick the worst of the too evils)
2. Use a good face cleancer before shaving. I use clean and clear it really helps
3. Do not shave against the grain. I know your girl love the way it feels when your face is baby ass smooth but you are only cutting the hairs shorter and allowing them to grown and curl into your skin...noted above.

4. Right after shaving use a good after shave loaded with vitaim E to help even out your skin town. I use clean and clear face cream mixed with aloe vara.
LASTLY KEEP A ROUTINE!!! I notice my bumps are worst when I fall of course.

They say advise is like ass holes everyone has one but try it and see if it works for you.

I've used this stuff and it's the sure cure for razor bumps..can be found at all drug stores. Give it a shot man..

Those marks might need Dr Zizmor from NYC to get them out. That razor is the problem. I have no marks. Been using magic in tha gold can. It's a pain to do but no marks or shadow and skin stay smooth.

had some problems with bumps etc...i rarely shave clean...i keep a very low stubble....works for me...that way i dont have to deal with ingrown hairs etc...and i bought a wahls shaving kit....on the rare occasions that i do a clean shave i dont have the kinda bump problems i have when i use razors...

Damn I love BGOL. I was just thinking about getting new blades for my Andi's T-liners. Anyways my suggestion is to brush your facial hair just like you'd brush the hair on your head. Ive been doing this for the past couple weeks and Ive noticed that I don't get razor bumps the way I used to.

without a doubt... cop this

Ive Heard about this stuff before. I just went to there site to order some and the 4oz bottle is 20 Bucks wich is all good but there charging an 8.50 shipping and handeling Fee. Little Outrageous in My opinion.
Is this the only place to get the stuff or can I order it someplace else .

That joint works, but the shit stinks. So be careful. Also its a bit messy because you have a powder and you have to wet it so it becomes a paste. Then you apply, but you have have to keep it moist. Then you have to get something to take it off, like a bladeless razor.

This is truth. Its a bit pricey but will get you right. Some local spots carry it too, so keep your eyes open.

i use dr palmers fade cream. if you used dilligently, you skin tone will start to even out and the spots will fade. but you have to use if for a while. its not overnight.

another thing that helps even your complexion is lemon juice. i know it sounds crazy and it stings like hell on your face but it really works!
