I wanted to first say that, I have never been as interested in politics as I am now, and it has nothing to do with Obama. My degree is in business. I understand the "system" of supply and demand, with that said, why is gas still high? OPEC is saying that they have plenty of gas but no one willing to buy it. I read this in the Atlanta Journal Constitution and The Los Angeles Times 4 months ago. We import an "admitted" 70% of our oil. No gas refineries were critically damaged during "Hurricane Ike". So why is gas 4.23 in Atlanta and 3.79 in some parts of Los Angeles? Why was gas ever high? If gasoline derives from oil which is produced by fossil fuels and considered a natural resource in no fear of expiring, why is gasoline high? If there is a supply and demand that is equal, why is gasoline high? Do you really think it's gonna take over 700 billion, with a b, dollars to stable the economy? Hell no!!! Bush and friends are taking at least 200 billion of that. Why is the mortgage crisis being blamed on irresponsible homeowners when the procedure of getting a loan is detailed and complicated? Isn't the fault of this atrocity on the financial institutions doing faulty dealings? Why are we bailing out these companies, that deliberately practice illegal business? Isn't Bank Of America trying to become a monopoly? Aren't monopolies illegal? Has anyone read Dennis Kucinich's articles of impeachment? Can someone please get back to me with some feedback?

What kind of feedback do you want; serious or amen ???

You seemed to have started off interestingly then exactly midway through, you hit us with a conclusion that you failed to support with hard evidence or reasonable argument: If gasoline derives from oil which is produced by fossil fuels and considered a natural resource in no fear of expiring, why is gasoline high?" Do you see what I mean ???

From that statement you took a quantum leap from oil and gas to the 700 billion matter without a transition -- then you asked us to assume, no, "presume" that "Bush and friends are taking at least 200 billion of that". Can I not like Bush and still say that you "presumed" again without showing us how that theft is taking or is to take place ???

I could go on similarly with the rest of your statements. But, what kind of feedback do you want; serious or amen ???

Well for the simple American who blames everything on our current president, the first thought is that Bush is keeping the gas prices on the high end as his last act of defiance. Having a heavy interest in the oil business he more than indirectly would capitalize off of any excuse to hike gas prices.

So we turn to Obama "The Chosen One" whom we all think is going to save the day and rid the country of all of its short comings to the middle and lower middle class.

When you look at the reality of it, Gas prices are not the only thing that have been kicking our asses. The bottom line is Inflation. The inevitable. Only fault is that average salaries have not equally adjusted as inflation stays on pace.

Maybe the answer is to move to Iceland or one of those countries who have their shit together.

The point I was trying to make about gasoline was that there is no shortage of it. The only people who are saying there's a shortage are the people profiting from oil and live in the United States, and they're hiding behind the practice of supply and demand to bring forth an artificial argument. I thought by mentioning OPEC earlier I was providing some kind of hard evidence.
For the second point, you are right I am assuming that the Bush administration is going to take this 200 billion dollars but the reason i think that is becasue of all the questionable low key acts that have happened during the Bush administration. I mentioned Dennis Kucinich's Articles of Impeachment as a form of evidence for that.
As far as feedback I just want to hear what anyone has to say, Im more or less encouraging dialouge, because brotha's are thinking about voting for McCain. I want to know why
