George Lucas didn't write shit on the original trilogy. All the credit goes to Lawrence Kasdan and the woman who helped write the script for the films. You can tell the difference in the dialogue between the original trilogy and the last three.

I wasnt saying that his writing fell off (wasnt inferring that he wrote the originals).I was saying that the seemed to completely dismiss the necessity of good writing-script and just went cgi crazy.

Expanded Universe killed that story because they came up with a better one. They got his son as a Sith Lord and Han Solo marrying Leia. They even killed Chewbacca. Lol.

He or someone else needs to give us a good movie about Dark Rendevous (Dooku and Yoda) and Shatterpoints (Mace Windu). Lucas gave a little smile when someone mentioned he needed to do something with Shatterpoints.

Wrong son. Jacen is Han and Leia's son.

Lucas ain't write it, but lets face it...Star Wars is his brand. He knew what was in those scripts & he had control over the creative direction of them.

He wanted the last three flicks to pull in young viewers. That's why they were garbage.
