It was funny cuz women were swearing they independent and don’t need no man. Well being independent is getting to dam expensive cuz you either need to stay at home with mommy and daddy while they pay the rent or……you can get 4 roommates, rent a room from someone you met off Craigslist, or co-habitat with a man.

I don’t know anyone that is working 40 hours a week…..I haven’t worked 40 hours a week since pre pandemic. And I wasn’t eating good then. If it is that stressful get another job or work for Amazon.

Median rent in USA is:$1,180 for 2023

I’m 2000 the median rent was: $602 a month.

Now minimum wage in various states:

So there are about 23 weekdays in a month depending on what month falls on.

In my state Michigan where it is 10.33 if you work 40 a week you would get a gross check before taxes be about $1,900 for the month. You can’t even present a pay stub that you make 3x’s the rent. 3 times the rent would be $3,540 a month.
In fact the highest minimum wage in the country $16.28 you still can’t show 3x’s the rent if you only work 40 hours.

She's all over the place. The pple she thinks made her life hard (gen x) still had to grind to get to where they are.

We had roommates, 2-3 jobs, beat up cars, no lights, no food...as a kid...and adult...

We also learned that Walmart and fast food wasn't real jobs. Can't be 25 with a kid on the way, doin door dash then get mad at the world when it doesn't work out.

She wants whatever job she is lucky to get, to pay her enough for a lifestyle and annual vacation.

Chic is a whole crybaby with entry level experience!!

Gen Z gon be throwing fish fries and GoFundMes to bury all these Gen X'ers next decade. They are completely wealthless and see Gen X as sellouts.

She has a little bit of a point, but in the bigger scheme of things generation Z is slowly changed the landscape of employment. They are refusing to come back into the office and a lot of them are very productive if they are working from home. A lot of these corporations better get on board with this because it’s not going to get any better.

She white she be alright
Yeah, but A lot of them are beginning to find out the hard way because Republican has started to cut their asses off (especially the poor and some middle-class ones). When white people feel like Black people is filling that’s when all hell may break loose. I would be smiling the background thinking to myself “we told you so”
