Just feels like I needed to save them since I spent so much money on them, but these bitches are just sitting in boxes collecting dust.

Anybody still keeping hundreds of CDs even though they are not playing them?

I have CDs and Cassette tapes.
It's hard for me to even think about getting rid of my TDK Metal tapes.

Depending on how many you have, I would rip in FLAC or ALAC format for home use first; at the very least, 320 kbps. Most of my collection is digital at this point, but I have a box of about 40 to 50 that I need to rip myself.

I sold mine here

I sold my album books of cds when I was in college (2001 I think).

Ripped everything in the highest quality available and backed them up in multiple locations.

I was in one of those groups that used to rip music (RNS) and put it out on the internet back in the day so I had access to literally everything.
