Greetings BGOL family. Have you been paying attention to what's been going on in France? For the past several days there has been a lot of riots, looting, and anarchy. The police shot and killed a 17 year old boy ( a Muslim), and that was the catalyst.

Some background. In 1948 the US instituted the Marshall Plan, which help rebuild European infrastructure (after WW2). The Germans used the Turkish to help rebuild. The French used the Algerians and others to help rebuild, etc... Now all of those immigrants for the most part are living in ghettos and places like that. (Reminds me of South Central LA, but anyway.) The immigrants are having major issues with poverty and the police. Now, the French people are saying that they want the immigrants to "Go back to where ever you came from," after they've help the country get on its feet. The whole country is caught up in the madness now.

Do you think that that's going to happen here in the States?

its less likely to happen in the US
because immigrant communities here have more upward mobility
I believe immigrants as individuals have a chance of moving up; but, I'm not so sure if that's true for communities.

We've had several riots in LA in my lifetime. Yet, I don't see any systemic changes in the way we're being policed here. I still see corrupt politicians backing the police's play, along with the police unions.

Do you think that we'll ever get to the point where the disenfranchised will say enough is enough? It's obvious to me that France is approaching that point.

This is stupid. You cant actually think they arent already capable, willing, and actively using these resources.l, right? This is simply a means to bring these mountains og evidentiary resources to bare in legal proceedings.

The US news media is not reporting it cuz they don’t want to influence Americans into protesting.

Iran has somewhat quiet the protests that kicked in last year when that woman got killed, but tensions are still there and more than likely gonna kick back up as folks regroup.

And the US news media ain’t reporting on Iran either.
