(CNN)A debate about the weekend's violence in Charlottesville, Virginia, got heated Monday morning as a former Virginia attorney general asked a CNN political commentator to "shut up."

Symone Sanders, who worked as national press secretary for Bernie Sanders during his presidential campaign, accused former Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli of not speaking "to the heart" of what happened in Charlottesville when white supremacists descended for a "Unite the Right" rally.
"Can I finish, Symone?" asked Cuccinelli at one point during the "New Day" debate. "Will you just shut up for a minute and let me finish?"
Anchor Chris Cuomo was quick to jump in, saying, "Ken, you don't want to use language like that when you're talking to Symone. You can disagree, but you don't talk like that on this show. You know better."
Sanders and Cuccinelli are not the first to tangle over where to cast blame for the violence in Virginia, which included a vehicular attack that left one counter-protester dead and 19 injured.
After President Donald Trump condemned the violence on "many sides" without directly naming white supremacists and neo-Nazis, he was met with bipartisan calls to name them.

CNN has lost credibility in my eyes allowing these Trump supporting morons airtime for the sake of having a counterpoint. Zucker (CNN head) is not interested in delivering news, just having a head to head platform for people to scream at each other.

I see why MSNBC is number 1 now.
 
The other side shouldn't be blamed for being racist, our side should be pummeled for letting racists dictate the rules of the debate. You have people who walk around in nazi paraphernalia while wrapped in a confederate flag like a rape victim, but they feel enraged when a Spanish person reps their flag at their parade.

If these nazi-loving-confederate-waving morons love this country, why don't we have a psychology test. Let's burn a nazi flag, a confederate flag, and the regular flag and see what elicits more anger.

It's been time to stop engaging those people.

I have seen this sista speak a few times and she is very abbassive and annoying. The information she uses to make her point be on point but her presentation is off putting. I have seen her on panels with other sisters that agree with her and they be like my god sista calm down.

Yeap, I said fuck the media in all forms!!! In 2012-13 the president give the media the okay to feed false propaganda to the people!! So, the people have no idea whats real or whats false.. If you want the law, Ill be more that happy to post it on here!! Anyway, the news people depend on is nothing more than programming you to follow the government narrative!! Your delusional if you believe false news and or propaganda on the airways only began a few years ago. The government has always maintained a degree of control over what we see or hear. This goes back to the mid-60s.

An what I'm telling you is a law was signed nothing more. It changed nothing! The media and government have been tied together for decades. An the media manipulating what we see and hear is nothing new. An in some instances your seeing exactly what the government wanted you to see.

Terms like alternative truth and fake news emerged since Trump was "handed" the presidency. But the practice itself is nothing new. Its a tactic every country uses.
