I was just in Portland a week after they honored him at a rally downtown.
People were still talking about it.

I felt his best days were behind him once he came to Portland.
But Dude is seriously beloved there.

You never heard a bad word about him.

I remember seeing him when he was really young. I think he was on the old Soviet team...yep. I go that far back..:lol: but dood had handles, nice shot. He was like a MUCH better Dirk. If he woulda got to Portland a few years earlier :smh:
