I'm not sure if you guys know or have seen the writing contests we've been having the past three weeks. Considering the main board is a hard place to keep a thread on the front page. But this is a formal invite from one of the participants to you, any and all writers or aspiring authors, to enter and join in.
Yes there is voting but the voting is not the main part of the whole ordeal. This is an opportunity for a. Practice and b. Honest critiques from fellow authors and non authors.
Me being a fellow writer I use this for the experience you gain in the act of writing. The fun in reading what someone else can come up with. Everyone can be a story teller, please come in and join the fun.
If you haven't seen or heard anything about the writing contests here's the two links to the first two. With winners, Mealstrom and me, Future2001. We're still tweaking the voting to add more fairness to that part of it. But again winning isn't everything when it comes to this friendly competition/ practice/ growth event.
