For The Cynics - Are You OK with A Man-Baby In Office?

I get it, I'm as cynical as they come about the entire political process. It's a joke for the most part and it's been totally co-opted by corporate interests. But even in my extreme cynicsm, I can't bear the idea of a petulant man-child like Trump in office.

Sincere question: How do you reconcile your cynical feelings about the office itself (it's just a figurehead etc etc) with the reality that a dude with less maturity than most 14 year olds I've met potentially becoming President of these United States?

Just watched Michelle's speech and the contrast between her level of class, intellegence and maturity relative to Trump was fucking jarring.

I don't know that it's an act bruh. He's incredibly thin skinned and immature. This is a guy who famously responded to playful jabs about his short fingers by taking out space in the New York post to respond that "they're beautiful and long, like other parts of my body". He's a weird, superbly petty individual. The thought of a guy like this being seen as the face of America is..... troubling.

Meanwhile, he's turned all the free press into an incredible run and cleans up when needed.

The problem with Trump is HE only knows his true intentions. And whatever those intentions are, he's methodical and manipulative enough to probably make them happen.

I think he is methodical and manipulative to a level we aren't even used to on this stage, which makes him more dangerous. When you get people to believe that there isn't a method to your madness, that's when you're fucking trouble. He's out here acting like Columbo. Like he's retarded.
