I get it, I'm as cynical as they come about the entire political process. It's a joke for the most part and it's been totally co-opted by corporate interests. But even in my extreme cynicsm, I can't bear the idea of a petulant man-child like Trump in office.
Sincere question: How do you reconcile your cynical feelings about the office itself (it's just a figurehead etc etc) with the reality that a dude with less maturity than most 14 year olds I've met potentially becoming President of these United States?
Just watched Michelle's speech and the contrast between her level of class, intellegence and maturity relative to Trump was fucking jarring.
