Is there a way to not having to shave your facial hair??? Like getting a shaving profile from the dermatologist or something???? I also need more information on a shaving profile, meaning what is the rules of having one, like can your facial hair be more than a inch or are you allow to have a line up???? What's the 411 on this issue????

Well, in the Marines Corps you can get a profile for as long as a few years. After that you may get discharged. I do know of some guys who were discharged after a while.

I can not speak for the Army, Navy, etc...including Law enforcement.

When I was in the Air Force Black Men got put on shaving waivers since we easily get razor bumps. FYI like another poster said in this thread...keep your waiver on you all the time so that you cam silence anyone on the spot who tries to start shit.

Navy no shave chit works like a champ. Like mentioned above until you make E6 carry a chit with you at all times, cause they will like to try you. We had the rare white boy that had a no shave chit and he couldn't make it to the parking lot without somebody running up on him..

Yep. On AF installations, I would never get hassled, but on an Army post or in a tri-service environment, the last thing you would ever want to do is to not have your waiver on you . . . but then, more than few Army cats were always on some "How come those Air Force guys can _______" type shit.
