ALL POWER TO THE PEOPLE!!

Never tried the red peppers and broccoli, but I fuck with the fruit smoothie. I add honey as a sweetener, I'll try it with the veggies tho. I'm like Will Smith in Enemy of the State:lol:

and it taste like? how many of each?

It tastes like a fruit smoothie, with a little kick to it. The amount of each can vary depending on what taste you want. Im doing a body detox so I tend to add more broccoli and spinach to mine... for those not used to adding vegetables to their smothie, I'd start off with just a little greenery to see how you like it. Its good and most importantly, HEALTHY!

That shit sounds smooth, Divine. Interesting mixture.

I drink smoothies all the time ... and I often do the low-fat soy milk + plenty of bananas ... or unsweetened orange juice (in place of the soy milk OR low-fat yogurt) ... and I mix it with a variety of the following types of items (especially when they're IN SEASON and priced more fairly!):

- blueberries
- blackberries
- peaches
- nectarines
- strawberries
- raspberries
- canteloupe
- honeydew
- cherries
- pineapple

* For the most part though I stick with the following:

1.5 - 2 cups of low fat soy milk + 5 - 6 bananas =

drink lasts me for the day or day and a quarter ...

:yes::yes::yes: you do the same that I normally do... but Im trying to venture out and make it a little more healthy by adding veggies, takes a little getting use to but Im loving this shit now.. I add broccoli or spinach to every smoothie I make now. I'll post some more of my recipes as I try them out and taste them...

Mad props, D'. You've always been healthy ... and thanks for sharing with the fam'. I need to start including veggies as I don't get nearly enough as (it) is in my diet.

I started making smoothies for my residents at work ... they really like 'em. They were like - "What are these?" And I explained to them that they're HEALTHY MILKSHAKES!

For THEIR smoothies I was using:

- Yogurt
- 4 - 5 bananas
- cranberry juice
- frozen blueberries
- and occasionally 1 - 2 oranges

Brocoli in smoothies is the truth. . A little blue or green algae and some apples in the mix are good too.

Tell her that if she wants to continue tasting good nut, she'll have to stock up your fridge and pantry with supplies ... as times are tough on a brother too, and this recession ain't leavin' anyone out of the loop.

Tell her - "Buy my supplies, and you can swallow my good nut for years to cum. Don't help me out financially ... and you're gonna get regular-tasting spizzunk ..."

Forget the bananas? They work well in the mix and are easier to find/more affordable than some of the other alternatives.

bananas have too much sugar, not really good to eat daily from what i understand.

that thai coconut is much healthier and has the same thickening effect.

bananas are great for you. High in fiber and potassium.. the sugar is on the high side.. but it is a fruit so its expected.

Real good article. I try to buy organic fruits & veggies whenever possible, Im sure stories like this are true with most mass marketed fruit/products.

This is a good read on why I don't really fuck with regular grocery store bananas anymore: http://www.naturalnews.com/023339.html

I do get a few of those tiny bananas sometimes though from the health food store. But if its got a chiquita sticker on it I ain't fuckin with it.
