When I first turned vegetarian, protein was an issue. Here's a quick chart of plant-based protein sources.

what about all that shit churning in your gut though? Don't think I can be vegan but I've already cut beef drastically. Which of course leads to a story. I met this ol wooden headed girl years back and she tried her best to get me to be fucking vegan but she let her lil overweight daughter eat nothing but fucking meat. No veggies, none of that. I said lady if you don't stop fucking playing with me I will be out this bitch like Swayze:hmm:

I think...if you get a powered protein supplement from brown rice or peas, it naturally has higher percentages of amino acids.
 
I'm doing a low carb diet now, but I can't stand the taste of Quinoa. I would rather eat Kelly Ann Conway's ass than that shit. Am I making it wrong? How are you eating this shit? With BBQ sauce? Wasabi? Red Rooster? Worcester? Garlic and Onion? Please tell me cause the wife has a pantry full of this shit that's going to waste.
 
Bee Pollen is the only true complete protein. I am going to try to wean myself off of so much processed food and start using more Bee Pollen, Bee Propolis, and Royal Jelly.
When using bee pollen it is good to use some digestive enzymes. Our systems are not use to digesting such rich food. At one time our system was but we have had generations of changing our natural system to follow after the ways of devils (whites)

With quinoa, you have to season the water. So with mine I dice some onion, bell pepper, and garlic. I let that simmer for about 20 min then bring to boil. After I put the quinoa in I had some can't believe it's not butter and a little kosher salt. I'll make a big pot and eat it everyday for lubch at work
 
and i've never heard of chorella.

i won't be consuming any of that stuff.

I always see this in Whole Foods, but I didn't realize it's a good supplement for B-12. I sometimes take chlorella, but I've read there's a lot of controversy on how it's processed.

I cook my black beans and use the water from my beans to cook the Q. I feel you bro but I don't think I will EVER go full non meat. I eat it 3 times a week or so. Not for the protein but bec I love meat. I did however stop getting cheap meat and eggs so when I do eat meat its of higher quality. Ive posted this b4 in another post but most of my protein comes from the following.









I mix all that with chia seeds, Flax seeds and it adds up to 120 grams a day. I eat it and drink water behind it bec I cant drink those protein drinks for some reason. I eat Omega 3 eggs and chicken that's a higher grade 3 times a week.

Quinoa crunchy? I probably cook mine too long....Till it's translucent

First time I had quinoa was from a Belgian chick. She made tabbouleh salad with quinoa. Been eating it since then.

If you're eating low carb, getting your protein should be the last thing you should be worried about. :dunno:
