FOOT-LONG NIGHTMARE: Subway pitchman Jared Fogle’s home raided in FBI child porn investigation — authorities seen retrieving electronics from residence
FBI agents raided iconic Subway pitchman Jared Fogle’s Indiana home amid a child porn investigation Tuesday.
The 37-year-old was detained in his Zionsville house as a special taskforce removed electronics from the property and took them to a mobile forensics van parked in his driveway, WTHR reported.
Fogle's wife and kids left just before the 6:30 a.m. raid.
He is not under arrest at this time.
In April, the executive director of the Jared Foundation — a nonprofit founded by Fogle to battle childhood obesity — was arrested on child pornography charges after investigators found more than 400 illicit videos in his Indianapolis home. Russell Taylor recorded all of the graphic footage was inside his home or his former homes between 2012 and 2015, police said.
The 43-year-old attempted suicide in May while he was still in jail. The foundation cut ties with Taylor after his arrest.
It’s not clear if the Tuesday raid at Fogle’s Zionsville home is related to Taylor.

Fogle became 'The Subway Guy' after he lost 245 pounds by eating nothing but the sandwich shop’s food.
He started his Subway diet in 1998, when he was a 425-pound junior at Indiana University in Bloomington.
Fogle shed 94 pounds in three months by eating one 6-inch turkey sub and one full-length veggie sub every day. Within a year, he was down to just 200 pounds — less than half of his starting weight.
The sub chain took note and quickly incorporated Fogle into his advertising campaign.
He still works with Subway today.
This is a developing story. Check back for updates.

I always thought this guy was a little on the creepy side. His smile looked as processed and concocted as the sliced turkey at Subway. Now he's REALLY going to be on weight loss regimen-in the slammer.

If the allegations are true, then shame on him and Subway should dismiss him immediately.
