McDonald’s is trying to reposition their selves. Their original restaurant is getting stale as hell although I still eat a breakfast. Sometimes they need to brighten a breakfast menus especially bring back the bagels and the egg whites to certain areas.

you have to remember that around 80 percent of existing McDonald's are Franchised.

The profit margin is likely significantly higher in a beverage only environment-

It would take less capital for a Franchisee to buy in/ open and operate - there's a bunch of food safety/storage/permit issues that they wouldn't have to deal with, the store itself could have a smaller footprint, workers could be less trained.

They are definitely going after that starbuck's money.

Personal opinion - McD's sales are declining with the rise of fast-fresh (think Chipotle style) partially due to a growing health conscious public, but ain't nothing stopping those white women from getting their frappe's, lol.

I agree....just looked the location its a bout an hour away i may try it out next week...just for shits and grins..people were lining up just to get a taste...they trying to see what dunkin and starbucks are up to...welp lets see if this is pass or fail...its in a mixed neighborhood blacks, whites and latinos...but in a busy area/street! Right next door to a McDonald’s...profits are up on micky dees... they just testing the market low over head with this!
