I'm more interested in hearing the explanations they are going to come up with. They'll say it's CGI or something.

I don't know man... After while it turned into a game of stump the flat earthers. It was entertaining until it turned sad.
Hot air balloons aren't spheres either, they are round in shape like a plate. Yeah, now if someone could some how invent a flying apparatus that would allow you to fly to the edge of the planet with out falling off... But such wild inventions is many many years away in the distant future... But until then we can only speculate about the shape of the planet we live on...

Anything contraption like that would be pure science fiction. Like the thought of being able call someone through a hand held phone. I didn't see that shit in Back to the Future 2 and that movie is an historically accurate portrayal of 2015.
