will smith been had enough money to fund smaller black projects..been had the power to ask unkown black writers to send in scripts, been had enough pull to do casting calls for new black talent, had a big enough voice to look for unknown black editors, videographer/photographers..now they got their nig wake up call and now they wanna talk independant hollywood nig please..if he got elected would this vid exist and this so called movement be talked about the answer is no


hollywood will throw jada a lil gig and she'll 4get all about this movement within a month
 
Yeah, there are those of us who have already made it that could have done a lot more about the problem before now. But that is what a wake up call is about. You can only be pacified with trinkets only to turn around and get smacked in the face again for so long before you wake up and say fuck them, I don't need them. Its like a guy who keeps getting shitted on by the same girl and keeps taking her back, then he finally realizes he doesn't need her, kicks her to the curb, and his next girl is an upgrade that looks better and treats him the way he deserves to be treated. But he doesn't deserve shit better until he tells the bum bitch he's been fucking with to fuck off.

And yeah there are bigger issues, but being in control of our own images, and not needing the acknowledgement from somebody who doesn't value you can go a long way in developing pride and integrity and empowering other areas of that community.
