Female Mexican Killer Given 7.5 Centuries In Jail

A female killer accused of murdering 17 senior citizens in their own homes was given a jail sentence of 7.5 centuries which must be served fully without early parole and without nightime discounts.

She's eligible for parole in the year 2767 AD.

No, not at all. It's to give significance to the life taken in the crime committed. It goes on all the time in multiple homicide cases. To give a criminal only one life sentence or two when they killed more than 3 or 4 people is insulting to the families and the victims of the crime. It's also to make sure the criminal convicted of the crimes doesn't slip through the cracks of the system.

Remember, in most states, life is considered 21 years, so no life sentence is technically a "life" sentence.

759 years is insane. They didn't give Charles Manson that much time. Why not just execute the woman and get it over with. Life sentences for proven cases like this are an unnecessary burden on the tax payers.

Hey Ladies, Pardon the intrusion in ya spot, but the title got me, As a tax payer in good standings with The Uncle Sam, I can not agree with sentences that go on for a persons whole family tree life span, I guess after she dies her kids have to pick-up where she left off?
