I'm sick and tired of motherfuckers whining and complaining about this or that.

I want to continue performing, but I want to be on stage by myself now. No more having to argue about rehearsal; whose ideas are or aren't being respected, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc.

I don't want to be on stage playing keys with a kick drum as my rhythm section. I don't want to have a click track as my rhythm section. Well, not JUST a click track and nothing else.

I always liked to be 'organic' and have humans playing instruments, but I'm open now to pre-programmed accompaniment.

So, once again, what are my options?

What music software are you using right now?

None.

I'd have to take the time to learn it. I've been using a 3-piece band - i.e. drums, bass, two keyboards - with no computer software involved.

I'm looking to make a transition into this.

Get you a Maschine by native instruments. Then you can program everything in there and even mix it up somewhat and do as impromptu a performance as possible.

Well...first of all say goodbye to bgol if you serious. You got a lot to learn. You didn't mention what you play. Everybody gonna come in here and recommend the software that they use and swear it's the best. You have to figure out which one is best thru trial and error according to what you want to accomplish.

Once you find the right software you gotta master that. Then you can figure out how to use it live.

Look into Ableton Live. I've read a lot of good things about it as far as people using it for live shows but I don't use it.

what instrument d u play? that is a starting point, cos that will be ur trigger instrument, theres options but i believe u need to know ur music in & out so u an flexible with transitions in a live music setting, just pushing ableton button is wack u need tactile response and being bale to be spontaneous with ur performances and if ure the lead singer then u should be able to be a bit mobile, so i dont think a "maschine" setup is the way to go, ull likely mostly be dealing with preprogrammed tracks but its how u manipulate it that will set u apart. logic/ableton/ software with trigger hardware stuff

Can you post an example of your set list
?
