Gassy goats may have grounded a Boeing 747
A herd of gassy goats may have grounded a freighter plane en route to Kuala Lumpur last week.
The Singapore Airlines Boeing 747 had to make an emergency landing on Oct. 26 after something triggered the onboard fire alarm system, according to The Mirror.
The craft was transporting a herd of more than 2,000 goats so flatulent they may have produced enough methane gas to trigger the alarm.
The plane made an emergency landing in Bali and, after it was determined that there was no fire on board, resumed flight about three hours later.
Although the farty ruminants seem the likely culprits, a Singapore Airlines official told Singapore Today, “that is an assumption being made by media, which we are unable to confirm.”
Apparently, the animals could just be a bunch of scapegoats.

There was a freight plane that was forced to land a few years ago because of the same methane issue but with beef cattle on board. The cattle were being shipped to a muslim country where they don't allow meat to be shipped in frozen, meat has to be fresh.
