fakers fans have a dilemma: who to scapegoat now?

in 2004-05 after 20 games, the fakers had a record of 12-8

fakers starters included:

chucky atkins
caron butler
lamar odom
chris mihm

fakers fans began belittling the players not named tobe, and the cry rang out that "tobe needs help"

now in 2011-12 after 20 games, the fakers have a record of 11-9

fakers starters include:

derek fisher
matt barnes
pau gasol
andrew bynum ("the best true big man in the game" according to shaquille o'neal)

so who will the fakers fans begin scapegoating now?

or will they begin to understand the sole constant in the equation?

food for thought:

the fakers defeated the clippers on january 25th.

in that game, pau gasol was fed early and often in the 1st half, and he produced.

but the primadonna stat chaser couldn't stick with the program and froze out pau gasol in the 2nd half. in fact, the glory hound chucker almost gave the game away with 6 TOs in Q3. :puke: forget about a W, got to get my individual shine on.

the actually talented fakers managed to pull the W in spite of the tobe's poor play, and as i've been saying for YEARS, it's better for the team when tobe takes FEWER FGAs.

pau gasol 9-13 .692
andrew bynum 6-11 .545
tobe 7-17 .412

given those FG%, it is OBVIOUS to objective persons who should be shooting MORE and who should be shooting LESS.

take a look at what happened in tonight's game v. the bucks.

for proper context, the milwaukee bucks did not have their starting C andrew bogut. now, andrew bogut may not be a world beater, but the milwaukee bucks had not won a single game without him in the starting lineup this season. that is, until tonight.

the fakers roll into town with andrew bynum and pau gasol starting in the frontcourt against milwaukee starters drew gooden and luc mbah a moute.

did pau gasol get the most FGAs tonight facing that competition?

NO.

did andrew bynum get the most FGAs tonight facing that competition?

NO.

surprise! tobe took the most FGAs tonight. but hey, that's SMART basketball, right?

so i made a separate post for the inevitable rebuttal of the moronic faker fan:

"but cranrab, pau gasol got 18 FGAs and he sucked! he only shot 6-18! .333 :puke: so you can't say that pau gasol wasn't getting his touches!"

it is true that pau gasol shot poorly tonight against the milwaukee bucks.

but the moronic faker fan won't tell you that pau gasol was getting hot potatoed (given the ball with 4 or fewer seconds left on the shot clock), mostly by guess who? you got it. tobe. how many of pau gasol's FGAs were hot pototoes? SIX. a third of his FGAs were forced upon him in bad situations.

tobe wants the box score readers to think that pau gasol was getting his touches, but unless a viewer watches the game with comprehension, they'd never figure out what was going on.

another point box score readers would miss is that while pau gasol missed 12 FGAs, he rebounded his own miss at least 3 times. BTW, pau gasol had the GAME HIGH for O rebounds and D rebounds.

watch Q3 of the clippers game. watch the milwaukee bucks game. tobe is tanking and sandbagging his own team. same old tobe.

...and, just like clockwork, the petty, jealous primadonna stat chaser couldn't stand that pau gasol was leading the team, so he freezes out pau gasol for the final 3 minutes of Q1.

SMART basketball to make sure that the hottest player doesn't see the ball again after going 6-8 FGAs in Q1, right?

Dude.. after all these years... I really hope you get the help you need... shit ain't even funny anymore... sad bordering pitiful.... :smh:

pitiful.... :smh:

it is pitiful that "after all these years" on a SPORTS board, in a basketball topic thread, that we still get ass clowns like you coming in here UNABLE to contribute to a thread.

tobe must mean an awful lot to you for you to consistently don your rainbow cape. i hope you get the help that you need.

I don't contribute to whiny obsessive clowns.... you need help Dude... Seriously! You live for this shit, as if it's gonna have an impact on Kobe's Hall of Fame induction or career legacy... you whining about your obsessive hate for the Dude. You've really got bitchass tendencies when it comes to him... Check your panties Dude, make sure they have a flap in the front... :smh:

we get it, already. for you, the truth = hate where tobe is concerned. keep flying the rainbow cape.

read the underlined part and tell me where i mentioned the HOF or legacy.

i leave that up to people like yourself who (a) don't understand basketball and (b) people who don't know the definition of legacy but continue to misuse it.

:smh:

Funny, nobody seems to want to argue the numbers that Cranrab is presenting. They just want to call him "crazy" "obsessed"

that's been clear from day ONE.

i was the only person on BGOL last year who called the mavericks LONG before the playoffs rolled around.

this year, in a thread during the second game of the season, i called the fakers doing a replay of 2004-05 because tobe is too stupid to play in a traditional O. 25 games later:

2004-05 15-12
2011-12 15-12

it's telling that none of these so-called fans can go on record and stand behind their statements like i do.

.

Gotta give you credit on that one. I remember those posts specifically and that was way early in the season.

bump

current fakers have a worse record than 2004-05 fakers team that finished last in the PUSSific division and missed the playoffs. after 41 games that team was 22-19.

back then, it was because tobe was forced to play with those "bums" caron butler and lamar odom. where are those "bums" now?

oh, wait a minute.

current fakers have a worse record than 2005-06 fakers team with kwame brown and william parker starting. after 41 games that team was 22-19.

if kwame brown and william parker hadn't joined and carried the fakers, the fakers would've missed the playoffs in consecutive years.

andrew bynum, kwame brown and william parker were carrying tobe's dead weight, not the other way around.

now maybe people will start to see why tobe has gone out of his way to take public shots at all 3 of those players.

At the end of the day, despite all the numbers, it's the cat whose been there the longest who should be deemed as the "problem". This does not just count for Kobe Bryant. This goes for any and all players on any and all teams. If a cat been there 10 years and has never won anything yet fingers get pointed all around him (I can think of several players right away), the fault is really on them. Fans viewpoints notwithstanding

people hate admitting that their favorites might actually be the problem and will go down fighting to prove it...which is why I stay away from criticizing their heroes

...and he's not?

Who would know the numbers better than a dude whose life seems to revolve around picking apart Kobe?

Of course you can't see it, 'cause you're almost as bad as he is.

As for the numbers, you know how easy it is for me to present a counter argument? Cranrab reads into every positive with LA as a knock against Kobe. He reads into every negative with LA as a knock against Kobe.

People see what they want to see.

Add "incorrigible" to the list of adjectives.

current fakers have a worse record (23-26) than 2006-07 fakers team that featured andrew bynum in his first season as a full time starter. after 49 games that team was 30-19.
