Facebook livestream on Android???

For all my android users... have yall received the update to do Livestream? I got 4.4.4 kitkatt and didnt update to new firmware... But folks i know have android and are able to do it. I updated my app and still no option.. Any help?
 
Yeah i got it about 3 weeks ago, i haven't tried it yet but some of my friends on Facebook have posted "live" feeds and it seems to work pretty good
 
First you should update your Android to the latest firmware. I'm running Lollipop 5.1.1 on my Note 4 no issue with Livestream for me.
 
My man....damn it my man^^^^^^^ im still on rooted 4.4.4 what would be the steps...? It doesnt matter who ya cell provide is either right? Do i have to backup anything? I dont want to lose all my music and apps etc..lol

Shouldn't matter who is the cell provider, I rooted phones in the past never had a problem with receiving OTA updates. But if you not getting the updates go to Android Authority http://www.androidauthority.com/android-one-5-1-ota-links-595816/
I would suggest to back up your stuff.

What phone and what carrier?
 
Damn its been 2 years almost i cant remember which way to be honest...i know its telling me i cant update over the WiFi so i need to connect it with pc so i must have samsung kies i believe smh
