she's made 8 figures in movies
now if she gets a hit she can get syndicated and bank for the rest of her natural life sitting on her ass
smart move more people should make.

Missing..as in missing a few things I can't quite put my finger on. I personally don't think Halle has "it" to be the main star. Especially, for a show that needs a strong lead character considering how its written.
Also, it seems to have an "outer limit" feel to it. Not nearly as well written of course.
Personally, I'm disappointed and expected more. But, its only episode #1 so hopefully it improves.
Excellent SyFy has been hard to come-by these days.

tv has always been a place used to be famous actors stay slightly relevant!
I actually like this dayum show....
It's got potential. It's a got the same production value of a lot of blockbuster SF movies. The problem I see is that the main themes in the show are not "compatible" with each other.
The main theme is the "big mystery" of what happened to Halle's character in space. The secondary theme is on some I, Robot type stuff.
It kinda reminds me of the ill fated "The Event" on NBC a few years back. Had some interesting moments, but people lost interest before the big reveal actually happened.
