A niece of Vice President Joe Biden, Caroline Biden, 26, was taken into police custody Tuesday morning in Manhattan after a fight with her roommate, cops told the New York Daily News.

A niece of Vice President Joe Biden was taken into police custody on Tuesday morning for scuffling with cops who were sent to her Tribeca apartment, police sources said.
Officers were there to break up a fight between Caroline Biden, 26, and her roommate, police sources told The News.
Biden has not yet been charged.
Sources said police responded at 9:15 a.m. to the Desbrosses St. building where Biden lives. She “got physical” with officers who questioned her and took her into custody.
It's not yet clear what the argument with the roommate was about.
Caroline Biden is the daughter of the vice president’s brother, James Biden Sr.
She has been in trouble before: She was briefly detained in 2009 by Amtrak police because of a “misunderstanding over a train fare.”
