Ex Steeler Randle El is struggling mentally and physically

I generally won't agree with you, but this statement is true. They understood the risks of the "sport" and voluntarily participated in it.

I've know several people that did it for the chicks and getting to the League. I've only known four people that played in the league and walked away without injury. A friend is playing on the defensive line and he's has all his wits about him. You don't have to agree with me I'm on the side of the facts.

Nigga shut the fuck up

That's what your mother told you every time you knocked on her door when her and your many "uncles" were wrestling. She told you to take your lead paint chip eating ass to sleep.

Sammy Jax go play in front of an 18 wheeler. Do me and your community a favor. You'd be better off for it.

I remember this nigga in high school on my team that played fullback. We only used him for short yardage and for the wedge on kick offs. Huge cat, like 6'3 245, he was constantly throwing up in practice because of all the concussions he got. Nigga would be getting screamed at by the coaches for being by the tree on a knee throwing up. We called him the vomit box.

It was fucked up then, son might be retarded now.

Randle El was a hybrid player before it was made popular by the Tim Tebows of the world

when the fuck was tim tebow a popular hybrid player in the nfl?
jesus they just stay trying to sneak kudos in for people who don't deserve it.

Well it was bobby Mitchell followed slash then randle El

Man it's sad that he's not doing well, but as for now there is no direct correlation to the long term effects of concussions, plus there are other factors that have to be taken into effect. But what I do know is that getting numbing injections to play through certain injuries, is not a great idea....but that he knew the risk...and he weighed it against getting paid/ staying on the teams useful list

Who did that?

Every time a thread about football injuries is brought up. When my kids stopped playing. I have nothing but sympathy for players who are injured. My husband played football. My kids wanted to play but then they started studying this stuff. Decided basketball and baseball and soccer were better off. I got shit on for that.

It's weird to me how we as a society know this shit and still want to sacrifice our young men to it. I like football too. We're a football family. But we got to figure something else out.
