Every generation needs someone to pass the knowledge forward
Will you take the baton?

On April 24, 1992, Dr. John Henrik Clarke gave me the introduction that he had written for my book, Nile Valley Contributions to Civilization.

By writing the introduction he brought me into a lineage.
He wrote:
“Tony Browder is one of the latest of a number of messengers attempting to tell the story of the Nile Valley contribution to civilization...
Tony Browder has associated himself with some top-level academic company. He is both a teacher and a learner. In both cases he has done well.”
Dr. Clarke was telling me and everyone reading that book, that I now stood in a line that stretched back through generations of scholars who fought to recover what had been stolen from us.
For Dr. Clarke to mention me in the same breath as William Leo Hansberry, Willis N. Huggins, J.A. Rogers, Carter G. Woodson, W.E.B Du Bois, George G.M. James and Cheikh Anta Diop, was one of the proudest moments of my life.
I learned at this moment that consciousness gets passed forward through lineage.
Dr. Clarke learned this from Arthur Schomburg, who opened his library and said “Study.” Schomburg had learned it from scholars before him. Dr. Clarke taught it to me and dozens of others throughout the 1980s.
Dr. Clarke used to say: “This life isn’t a rat race—it’s a relay race. Each generation must study at the feet of their elders, and has the responsibility of learning well, and training the next generation of learners when they become elders.”
This is a relay race, which means the baton only moves forward if someone is there to grab it when it is passed.
In the 1980s, I was fortunate to meet and build relationships with scholars who shaped everything I do now:
Dr. John Henrik Clarke. Dr. Asa Hilliard. Dr. Ivan Van Sertima. Dr. Yosef ben-Jochannan. Dr. John G. Jackson. Dr. Frances Cress Welsing. Na’im Akbar. Wade Nobles. James Small.

John Henrik Clarke, John G Jackson, Dr. Ben
These were my heroes and sheroes. I had personal and business relationships with them. Everything I do now models the life lessons I learned in their presence.
Dr. Clarke’s most important lesson was: “All history is a current event.”
That teaching changed how I see everything. It means what happened 5,000 years ago determines what happens five minutes from now. It means the past isn’t behind us, but right here, shaping every choice we make.
And that means their lineage continues through me and will continue beyond me as long as someone is willing to grab the baton and run with it.
Dr. Clarke found Arthur Schomburg in Harlem. That relationship changed his trajectory.
I found Dr. Clarke, Dr. Van Sertima, Dr. Ben, Dr. Hilliard in the 1970s and 80s. Those relationships changed my trajectory.
David Banner called me one Christmas. That conversation changed his trajectory.
Kyrie Irving read Survival Strategies and told people: “This knowledge is just an awakening.”
Every link in that chain represents someone who read books, but then they connected with their Jegnas.
That is why I am offering the opportunity to connect with me. I want to ensure that the relay race continues.
But this window won’t stay open forever.
When you pre-order From The Browder File Vol. III, you’re stepping into that lineage. Your name goes in the book as someone who acted.
You get to join the Q&A group (ADEPT) and the Jegnaship call (JEGNA), which connects you to this chain of consciousness.
And one day, when someone asks how you learned this, you’ll say:
“I studied with Anthony T. Browder.
And he studied with John Henrik Clarke.
And Dr. Clarke studied with Arthur Schomburg.
And our lineage goes back 300,000 years to the first people on the planet’”
That’s how I know our knowledge will stay alive.
