EV Vs. V12

Gas powered didn't have a chance.

Foh.

Electric cars are just fast, I'd still rather have the Bugatti though

Of course I’d take the Bugatti. The lack of gear changes in a Taycan is awesome. It’s always on the right gear. I’ve seen Taycans take off and it’s always a beautiful thing to watch, even though I’m driving one.

It's the torque. The combustion process in a V12 engine that makes a car go can never compete with what is basically an on-off switch in an electric motor.

I'd still take that Lambo over that Porsche.

Not only that. Lambos have high rev motors, the power doesn't kick in until the rpms are high. They are sluggish from a stop.

I only posted to show how EV’s beat everything, at least at the start.

EV’s are amazingly fast.

I don't know why people are soo fascinated with comparing EV's with combustion powered vehicles. Two totally different vehicles. To me its just like racing a prop engine plane with a jet. :dunno:

I mean they’re both cars and they both give an experience, and most are just comparing the experience.

And I’m still picking that 6 speed manual V12 and I don’t care that the EV’s faster!

Yeah I can see the point on the experience...but the racing of instant on electric motors with similar in horsepower gas combustion is crazy to me.. But, yes DEFINITELY taking the V12 over that EV..

Yeah I definitely agree!

Of course the EV is going to win.

Personally, I'd rather hear and feel the car when it comes to speed.

Nothing against EVs. I want to buy one in the near future. The only EV I want is something like an SUV.

The engine sound is so fuckin' muffled in most cars nowadays, you may as well be driving an EV.
