Video taken in the moments after an EMS worker was stabbed inside an ambulance shows her wailing on the ground as her colleagues tend to her and confront her alleged attacker — who was hit with charges Thursday over the horrifying attack.
Rudy Garcia, 48, was charged with assault, criminal possession of a weapon, and obstruction of governmental administration for the Wednesday night attack on the Mount Sinai West first responder at West 58th Street and Ninth Avenue in Manhattan, police said.
The unhinged man allegedly stabbed the 25-year-old Emergency Medical Service worker with a kitchen knife in the arm and leg, cops said. She was taken to the hospital and listed in stable condition.
The alleged stabber was emotionally disturbed, sources told The Post – but the exact motive for the stabbing remains unclear.

The alleged assailant is seen going back into the ambulance as another worker yells, “What the hell is he doing? What are you doing?”

He comes back out of the ambulance as the first responders scold him, “Back off now! Keep your hands down!”
