Eddie Murphy & Jerry Seinfeld debate funniest comedian of all time

Nigga let’s not stretch it, that nigga ain’t funny to me either! :roflmao:

But when someone says a comedian isn’t funny but has millions of fans, they sound foolish.

Different strokes. Money aside, dude is funny to me.

Im a huge Seinfeld fan. Ive been watching the show since I was 10 and have seen literally every single episode. With that said, he's not funny. Jerry Seinfeld's stand up comedy is pure trash and I'm beginning to feel like Larry David was the genius behind the Seinfeld show.
Exactly....98.5% of That Net Worth and His Fans Came From Larry David's Pen....IJS

Guess Cardi B is an all time emcee because she has a grammy amd is worth millions.

No way Seinfeld is Top 10 comic all time.

There are plenty of people who find success but who don’t have the respect of their peers. Seinfeld has been one of the most respected comics in the game for decades.

I know I'll get some hate, but Jerry Seinfield is inarguable proof that you need zero talent to become rich and successful in the entertainment businesss.

Im Not and Im a Fan of the Show....But Being Real Larry David Did the Heavy Lifting Thats Why Curb Your Enthusiasm Is So Damn Hilarious Without the Help of Seinfeld

You’re right. Larry David was instrumental in the development and success of the show, but so was Seinfeld. They were like Lennon/McCartney.

You probably won’t get too much heat on a predominately black board (supposedly) but you’re just wrong.

#ToYou

Jerry Seinfeld Net Worth: 950 Million.

He’s funny to millions of others.
His show is what netted him those fans and in his show he surrounded himself with talented funny people to carry that motherfucker as long as it did;It wasn't Seinfeld that makes people laugh but the characters, situation that he places himself in that drive him to react, say or do something that some find funny.
That show is all he has and will ever have and he knows that....he earned it and good for him.

Eddie probably questioned why did they have Seinfeld up there with him because those two's career can't be compared but I guess just for having a different opinion sake he's cool but come on now.He mentioned Scoey Mitchell who I had to google lol but I understand that's why Seinfeld was there.

I was going to make a thread asking what happened to the comedian T.K Carter who I remember in a lot of 80's movies and I recently saw him in Rage in Harlem and thought where is this dude at?and did he do a stand up or special cause I've only seen him in the oddest of movies.

Tonight show 1981, he made it to the couch.

In May 1981, Seinfeld made a successful appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson, impressing Carson and the audience and leading to frequent appearances on that show and others, including Late Night with David Letterman.[18] On September 5, 1987, his first one-hour special Stand-Up Confidential aired live on HBO.

Yes the show made him most of his money but he was a successful comedian on the comedy circuit.

To be honest, people are missing the most importantly odd thing that I found out years ago about Jerry Seinfeld...

That niggas first name is JEROME! :roflmao::roflmao2::roflmao3:

Having done amateur comedy and magic for a while now. I can really appreciate these two gentlemen. I thought Eddie was a little smug in this interview, whereas Jerry deferred more to Eddie. Eddie just took the praise and rarely reciprocated.

One thing about older comedians is that they often get a laugh pass. Meaning they can say shit that isn't funny and the audience will still laugh. I saw Chappell give an interview and people were laughing at stuff that he wasn't intending to be funny.

Coming to America II is going to be a box office destroyer.

Good drop OP

I was a fan of Seinfeld before his TV show, but when he got really really popular I didn't fuk with him anymore. I haven't even seen one episode of Seinfeld.
