Sup fam, just wanted to share a little side hustle I got going on...I've been stuck at home during the blizzard here in Buffalo and have actually been able to have the storm make some money for me.
If you haven't yet, check out the "Stringr" app (Iphone and Android) and you can easily get quick video gigs to submit to news outlets.
So far, I've made like $350 just off :20 second clips I filmed with my phone. Once the footage you upload is downloaded, you'll receive a notification and get paid via PayPal the next day.
Videos range from $20-$40 per 15-20 second clips, and you can upload multiple clips at a time.
I'm not quiting my day job but it's a nice little chump change while I chill waiting to get back to the office.
If you watched any of the footage from the Buffalo Blizzard, you more than likely saw my footage, as it was picked up by CNN, ABC, NBC and CBS.
Peace.
